Busy lives don’t always make it easy to have a healthy breakfast ready for us when we are headed out the door. Today, I am sharing a recipe collection of quick and healthy breakfast recipes that can either be made in advance or made quickly for on the go!
I am usually having breakfast at my desk once I get to work in the morning. I don’t set aside breakfast time at home during the weekdays. My routine starts by feeding the cats (yes, my cats eat before I do), work out, take a shower, and get ready to go to work. I make coffee in our Keurig for on the go, and I am off to work.
So, with a little advance prep work and planning out your breakfasts, it is doable to have a healthy breakfast while still keeping up with a full morning routine!
Make this healthy bowl of goodness the night before!
Make these egg muffins for the week ahead!
Put the sliced banana & strawberries in a Ziploc bag or container in the freezer. Throw them in the blender with the other ingredients in the morning!
Make this baked oatmeal for the week. Slice and put in containers for a quick and filling breakfast!
Measure out the frozen bananas ahead and put in the blender with the rest of the ingredient for a quick smoothie!
Premeasure the dry ingredients. Add the milk in a bowl and stir allowing 20 to 30 minutes before eating. (Perfect for a short commute to work!)
