Jump to Recipe

These Easy Nutella Croissants are barely a recipe, but they are absolutely delicious. There is something about a buttery flakey croissant filled with the hazelnut cocoa spread and dusted with powdered sugar! A simple recipe that delivers on sweet and buttery hazelnut deliciousness that melts in your mouth!

The simplest of recipes are often the best kind. Life can be complicated enough, so I prefer to not punish myself in the kitchen but rather treat my family & myself to a simple treat.

Making Easy Nutella Croissants are not complicated, yet the flavors are a perfect combination. Buttery croissants, hazelnut & cocoa spread and a dusting of powdered sugar to add a slight sweetness needed to top off this pasty dessert.

The only rule of thumb I would make clear is to not overfill the croissants with Nutella. I little goes a long ways to prevent a leaking mess in your oven.

You can always add some crushed hazelnuts in the filling, but these Easy Nutella Croissants are perfect as is!

Prep Time10 minutes mins
Cook Time12 minutes mins
Course: Dessert
Servings: 4

Ingredients

  • 1 8 count Tube Refrigerated Croissants I like the Pillsbury Flakey Butter
  • 8 tbsp Nutella
  • Powdered Sugar for dusting

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Prepare a baking pan with parchment paper.
  • Roll out & separate each croissant triangle on a flat surface. Spread about a tablespoon of the Nutella over each triangle. Be sure to leave a little room around the ideas of the triangles to prevent the Nutella from leaking out of the croissant when baking.
  • Roll each Nutella covered croissant triangle staring from wide end.
  • Place in oven & bake until lightly golden brown. Around 9 to 12 minutes.
  • As soon as you remove the croissants from the oven, dust each croissant with powdered sugar.
  • Best enjoyed hot, but equally delicious at room temperature!
