Happy Saturday! Cooper and I hope everyone is having a great weekend so far.
Cooper is 14 years young. He has definitely had is oddball moments over those years, and continues to surprise us. Cats will be cats, but they do learn a few lessons along the way. Here are a few of Cooper’s lessons.
Cooper took an unplanned dip in the fish aquarium. After that unexpected bath, he had no interest in the aquarium fish at all! By the way, he did not catch a fish!
Cooper took down the Christmas tree! Cooper was always fascinated with the tree, and we knew it would only be a matter of time that he would attempt to climb it. We did not expect him to jump from a chair to the upper part of the tree. Well the tree came tumbling and Cooper was a streak of fur running away from the tree. That day Cooper decided he was not a tree dwelling cat but rather a bush dwelling cat! Our Christmas trees have managed to stay upright for every Christmas season since.
Cooper charged a group of Canadian geese, just to have the geese chase Cooper back into the house! Cooper had been eyeballing the groups of Canadian geese that would walk through our front yard. One day we received a delivery the same time the geese were in our yard. Cooper seized the moment to charge out of the front door as soon as it opened. Cooper did not make it very far. The geese started screeching, their wings came out flapping and they ran towards Cooper! Cooper did a 180, and ran back into the house. He had a new found respect for those geese!
Those are just a few of Cooper’s “lessons” to not repeat that again. I wish I had videos of Cooper’s antics over the years. Since I don’t, I will share a little video of cats being oddballs!!
