Welcome to a new Feline Friday! For a little over a week, I have had the honor of fostering 4 precious kittens. These kittens are 4 of 29 kittens and cats that were rescued from a heartbreaking situation. Living in an unhealthy and desperate environment, some kittens and cats did not pull through. But, today, I want to celebrate the work that an organization did to give these four kittens the life that they always deserved.

Saving Grace Animal Rescue is the reason why these kittens have full bellies and a safe place to sleep. They learned about the sick and desperate situation that 29 kittens and cats were in and needed help. Although Saving Grace Animal Rescue focuses primarily on dogs, they would not allow these cats to live in such a hopeless state. MomaKat Rescue agreed to help by offering available fosters, and that is where I came in. My foster room was clean and ready, so I happily opened my home to these kittens in need. Rescuing 29 cats and kittens is a long and painstaking process, and Saving Grace Animal Rescue has been going back and forth to the residence for weeks now. Each trip they make, they take the cats and kittens they could rescue to the vet for assessment and treatment. The four kittens that I am fostering were suffering from severe upper respiratory infections and 1 had a GI infection. Fortunately, the antibiotics are helping with their infections and they are now thriving!  They finally get to be playful kittens full comfort, cuddles, and purrs!

Bella

The only girl of the group. Bella is shy and needs time and patience for her to build trust in people. But the wait is worth it with this calico. She is gentle, sweet, and full of purrs when she is in your arms. She has spirited playfulness with her brothers, and she can certainly hold her own! Bella is waiting for a family that will give her a safe and loving indoor home with a family that will let her know she is loved and protected!

 

Oliver

The gentle sweetheart of the group. Oliver is full of playfulness, but he loves to settle down in a warm and loving lap. He plays with his brothers and sisters with enthusiasm, but he also wants to show his gentle and sweet side in the comfort of a lap. Oliver is waiting for a family that will give him a safe and loving indoor home with a family that will allow him to be a kitten and give him tons of cuddle time!

 

Leo

The most energetic and friendliest of the group. Leo is playful with his brothers and sister, and he is just as playful with people. Once he trusts you, he is all kitten. He also loves laps, kisses, and tons of cuddles. He needs a safe and loving indoor home with a family that will appreciate his playfulness and allows him to be cuddled and stay close to his family!

 

Toby

The laid back and observant kitten of the group. Toby is the combination of a playful kitten and cautious cat. He adapts well but will need time and patience to trust people and know he is safe. Once you have his trust, Toby will be the brave and playful kitten that he always deserved to be. Loyalty is in his eyes, and he is looking forward to a safe and loving indoor home with a family that will give him their loyalty in return.

These kittens are here because Saving Grace Animal Rescue fought to save them from a hopeless environment. Now, these precious kittens are waiting for their families that will promise to give them a lifetime of happiness, safety, and love!
