Does anyone else have a problem making your bed/changing the sheets with your cat(s)? I do! I would not really call it a problem, but this is a game that Cooper and I have played since he was a kitten. When Cooper was younger he liked to get covered up with the sheets and chase my hand over the top of the sheets. He would then find his escape from under the sheets. Cooper now loves to jump up on the bed while I am changing the sheets, but he does not want the sheets covering him up. He always wins this game!
Cooper: Ha! Caught you trying to make the bed! Try now!
Me: Come on Coop! I just want to change the sheets real quick. You can get on the bed after I am done!
Cooper: No! I like the bed like this too!
Cooper: You can go relax and make the bed later!
Me: Okay. But how about I try to finish now instead?
Cooper: Umm, nope. I’ll stay right here. It’s comfy!
Cooper: I win!
Me: I let you win! But you deserve it!
Cooper: Time for a cat nap!
I usually get to finish making the bed an hour later! It never gets old! I will take enjoying Cooper over house chores any day!
