“There are all kinds of love in this world, but never the same love twice.” – F. Scott Fitzgerald
Cooper’s Christmas bear still hangs on our Christmas tree every year. He loved that bear. I hung it low, and he would grab his bear and hide it somewhere in the house for us to find. I would hang it back on the tree, and he would hide it somewhere new.
Cooper passed just over 3 years ago, yet our love for him is impossible to replace. Cooper was our one and only cat for nearly 16 years. He was our world, and we were his.
Cooper loved the holidays. He enjoyed pulling off as many ornaments as possible from the Christmas tree. He still holds the title of completely knocking over the Christmas tree back in the day! Cooper loved “helping” wrap the presents, and later running through the mess of wrapping paper after we opened our presents. Cooper left us with memories we will always cherish. His teddy bear ornament is just a small memento that Cooper is still a part of our Christmas and always in our hearts.
Since Cooper’s passing we adopted Ranger, Marmalade, Maggie, Cappuccino & Latte. Each one has a unique and individual love that we treasure. Every single one fills our home with new holiday memories that we will treasure just as they were with Cooper. They all have taken joy in pulling ornaments from the Christmas tree just as Cooper did! But, the one ornament that they leave untouched is Cooper’s little Christmas bear. They leave that one for Cooper. ❤️?
Cooper put us on a path that led us to adopting Ranger and shortly thereafter Marmalade. Within two years we welcomed Maggie and finally Cappuccino and Latte. Because of Cooper our home is filled with many kinds of love! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Wishing you a special Tabby Tuesday and Happy Holidays!
