July Favorites

It is that time to share some my favorite everyday items that I find useful and enjoyable! None of the items are sponsored. I have paid for all of these items myself, and I have tried and continue to enjoy each of these favorites!

 

Magnum Ice Cream now offers ice cream in a “crackable” tub! I had been wanting to try these for while now, but the high price tag kept me from going for it. Plus, I was afraid I would like them and have to justify the cost, when, let’s face it, one tub would not cut it for a week. Well, I got my hands on some generous coupons , and oh my goodness! The pieces of chocolate with the densely rich and smooth ice cream are uniquely divine! They are definitely an occasional splurge every once in a while for sure!

 

This Zojirushi Stainless Steel Travel Mug is the only travel mug that I have found that keeps my coffee piping hot for the entire morning. No matter how hot the July month gets, and it is getting hotter, I always have to start my mornings with a hot cup of coffee. I can’t stand lukewarm coffee, so on my way out the door each morning, I prepare my coffee, and  it stays hot in this trusty travel mug!

 

Every night I try to find ways to wind down and relax from the busy day. One treat I enjoy is a cup of Celestial Seasonings Herbal Tea. I am really liking the Honey Vanilla Chamomile lately. I also enjoy the Peppermint, and Cinnamon Apple Spice, especially when the cooler months arrive.

 

 

Many of the recipes I share call for vegetable broth. Instead of buying the cans or boxes of vegetable broth, I love to use Better Than Bouillon, Vegetable Base. Only 1 teaspoon is needed for every 8 ounces of water. The flavor is rich and well rounded compared to the flavors from the cans and boxes of vegetable broth. I have also found the price to be better in the long run, since the jar is stored in the refrigerator after opened.

 

My favorite go to multi-purpose cleaner is by Mrs. Meyers. The Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day Multi-Purpose Everyday Cleaner in the scent Basil is my ultimate favorite! The scent does not linger on the surface, but it does make the cleaning process more enjoyable. The cleaning power I get on my counter tops is amazing. I also feel good knowing that I am not spaying harsh chemicals around the house.

 

I cannot leave out a cat favorite item I recently discovered! The Cat Guru Premium Litter Mat has been the best litter mat I have found to help reduce the cats from tracking litter around the house. I have the extra large size which covers enough space to capture most of the litter from Marmalade and Rangers’ paws. You can shake out the excess litter and it is machine washable! It is plush and soft too! It you step on it, you don’t feel that gritty feeling. Plus, it is nice on the kitties paws as well!
