This smoothie is the classic strawberry and banana smoothie with the addition of creamy coconut milk to deliver a delicious tropical twist! This smoothie just so happens to be naturally vegan!
I use frozen whole strawberries straight from the freezer along with a fresh banana. Of course, you can use frozen banana slices for added convenience. As for the coconut milk, I used the coconut milk from a can, but the refrigerated variety will work too. Just make sure it is unsweetened.
There is not a thing wrong with the classic strawberry & banana smoothie. But, if you want to change it up, try adding the coconut milk for a nice tropical twist.
Strawberry Banana Tropical Twist Smoothie
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups frozen strawberries
- 1 medium banana
- 1/4 cup unsweetened coconut milk canned
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
Instructions
- Place all the ingredient in a blender. Blend until smooth.
