I think this picture gives some insight on the reason for our absence from new posts. Cooper has been sick. I was worried about Cooper’s appetite and change in his behavior, so I took him in to see his doctor. It turned out that Cooper’s blood pressure and kidney levels were too high, and he was very dehydrated. With that being said, Cooper has been in excellent care. For the past week, Cooper has been staying at the vet for treatment during the day, and he comes home with me for the night. His levels have improved and is responding well to treatment. It has been and slow yet steady process, and I cannot express how much gratitude I have for his doctor and the entire staff that have cared for Cooper. This health scare has directed my focus on Cooper, so I have taken a break from my normal cooking routine. I really appreciate your patience. Cooper and I will be back soon with pictures, videos and, of course, food!
