Hot Cocoa Mix

Make this to last your family throughout the season, or to put together as gifts for the holidays!

  • 3 cups nonfat dry milk powder
  • 2 cups confectioners' sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups white chocolate chips
  • 1 1/2 cups Dutch-processed cocoa
  • 1/2 t salt


  • Add all of the ingredients in a large bowl. Stir until well combined.
  • In 2 batches, process the mixture in a food processor until the white chocolate chips are ground fine and incorporated into the mix. This will take around 1 minute.
  • The hot cocoa mix can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 months.

To Make Hot Cocoa

  • Heat 1 cup of whole milk in a small saucepan over medium heat for 3 to 5 minutes or until steaming.
  • Whisk in 1/3 cup (5 tablespoons) until dissolved.
  • Pour into a mug and top with whipped cream or marshmallows!
