Alfredo Sauce
A simple and made from scratch decadent alfredo sauce!

- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 garlic cloves finely minced
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1/4 t white pepper
- 1/4 t kosher salt
- 1 1/2 cups grated parmesan cheese
In a medium saucepan add the butter and melt over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook for 30 seconds or just until fragrant.
Add the heavy cream, white pepper, and salt. Bring the mixture to a boil while stirring with a whisk often. Reduce the heat to medium-low.
Simmer the mixture for 8 minutes, stirring with the whisk often.
Remove from heat and add the parmesan cheese. Stir with a whisk until smooth.
Return to stove on low and continue to cook and stir constantly for 2-3 minutes.
