Alfredo Sauce

A simple and made from scratch decadent alfredo sauce!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 garlic cloves finely minced
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/4 t white pepper
  • 1/4 t kosher salt
  • 1 1/2 cups grated parmesan cheese

Instructions

  • In a medium saucepan add the butter and melt over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook for 30 seconds or just until fragrant.
  • Add the heavy cream, white pepper, and salt. Bring the mixture to a boil while stirring with a whisk often. Reduce the heat to medium-low.
  • Simmer the mixture for 8 minutes, stirring with the whisk often.
  • Remove from heat and add the parmesan cheese. Stir with a whisk until smooth.
  • Return to stove on low and continue to cook and stir constantly for 2-3 minutes.
  • Enjoy!
